About the Course

Designed by Howard Swan, the Boavista Golf Course is a challenging play, particularly holes 6 and 8 where golfers have to drive the ball over a ravine.

Open in 2002, the design of the course took into account the natural contours of the terrain and made sublime use of the surrounding landscape, providing views of rare beauty over the Bay of Lagos (east) and Serra de Monchique (north).

The excellent conditions for maintaining the course, the variety of its holes and all its surroundings make Boavista Golf & Spa a unique experience for all its visitors.

With two distinct sections, the course begins with a winding slope in hole 1, par-4, surrounded by sub-tropical vegetation and beautiful and harmonious properties.

Some lovely holes on this course, with some interesting ones over ravines.

Lined by beautiful properties some holes have water to contend with.

Reasonably priced to!

Good course, some great holes like 6,8,13 and 17. Super clubhouse and food is good. Driving range is not open. Practice area is good and staff are very good. Played it 3 times and would rate it 7.8/10. Members are friendly
