About the Course

Designed around ten years ago by Bristol resident Terry Murray, the Guadiana and Atlântico courses are the most mature of the three courses, with fairways surrounded by a line of graceful pine trees.

The fields teem with wildlife, especially partridges in the winter months.

The courses are characterized by fast, true greens , many of them in elevated areas and protected by bunkers , inviting elevated tees and fairways that take doglegs carved into slopes.

The Grouse is the newest of the nine-hole courses with the most far-reaching views of the inland mountains. Despite only having opened to the public in 2008, it has developed very satisfactorily. It has a sloping terrain with fewer trees than the other two fields. The fields teem with wildlife, including wild boar, birds and rabbits. Some lucky owners have even spotted the elusive Iberian lynx on the Grouse field during dawn training. The Guadiana countryside is a delight, set among graceful pine trees. The course is characterized by fast and authentic greens, many of them in elevated areas and protected by bunkers, inviting elevated tees and fairways that take doglegs carved into slopes.
